Hello, just checked my credit report before app for another card, here's a brief summary:
Inquiries
(EX) 1 inquiry previous 24 months
(EQ) 0 inquiry
(TU) 1 inquiry (4 days ago)
Installment/Student Loans/Other
None
Revolving
Amex Charge Card, opened 2003
Amex Costco, opened 2011 but on the credit report it shows 2003 (weird?)
BoA Amex, opened 2004
Chase British Air, opened 2011
Citi, opened 2004
Discover Escape, opened 2007
Santander, opened 2014
Actually, I'm thinking about closing my discover escape card as well as the citi thankyou prestige card. Reasons: (1) I think I have too many cards in my wallet already ... it's hard to manage all these bills, due dates on top of all the matter I have to deal with everyday (2) Discover customer service is not very good, also don't like the way how they handled my disputes (3) Want to get a card with excellent benefits with a relatively lower annual fee expense.
Thanks!
Well, you have low inquries which are very good and accounts that are well aged. I'd say you would most likely get approved for about 93% of cards out there at the moment given that you have low utilization, good payment history, and a good AAoA.
It also depends on what rewards you'd like and where you shop the most.

What are your scores?
I would product change the Discover to the It card and the Citi to Double Cash. If you still need a new card at that point look for one that gives rewards for categories that you spend a lot on. My want to look at PC the BoA Amex to the 1-2-3 rewards Visa Signature also.
Can I have your Citi Prestige?
Experian 751, Equifax 770, Transunion 750.
I spent about half on shopping in clothing and accessories and another half on mostly travel and other expenses.

If you travel why would you consider closing the prestige ? It's considered one of the better high end travel cards now.
If I were you I'd go after the amex bce. Maybe the ritz/marriott cards. Good luck!
