When they pull all 3 credit bureaus...

Cap1 and some others pull all 3 CBs. Guessing most of this process is handled by a computer so we probably don't know the answer to this but... Is all the info taken into consideration? Do they maybe focus on one CB? Scores averaged? What if one score is substancially lower than the other two? What do we know about this?

EQ - 702 / TU - 679 / EX - 689

Capital One Savor - $17000 / Capital One Venture - $13000 / Travel Advantage Visa - $13000 /Bread Rewards AMEX - $8450 / TD Cash Card - $7500 / Apple Card - $6500 / TD Double Up - $5500 / Mercury - $5000 / Ally Master Card - $4300 / DCU Visa - $3000 / Capital One QuickSilver - $600

there's several DPs across the internet of being able to freeze experian and still be approved by Cap1, so clearly they're okay with not having or using some of the info

personally, I think they primarily base their decision off of the report that they use to give you your score and then use a second report to confirm that and then the other pull is just to be rude

Re: When they pull all 3 credit bureaus...

I've heard some reports of companies pulling 2 CRs for the initial inquiry, then pulling 1 for anything else in the future.  Couldn't say who exactly since I haven't tried yet (although I've heard Chase is one of them).

Minimalist's Rules:
1. Finances Before FICO
2. No AZEO
3. No Churning
4. No more than 1-2 cards
5. $100k in the bank is worth more than $100k CL
6.Cash is still king

My wife's Quicksilver was a triple pull, but her Savor was only 2. Every report was unfrozen, too.
