I was thinking of getting a Hotel card in the future and wanted to know which is the best Hotel card.
If anyone can justify just using other reward cards to obtain better stays. Please let me know.
I think Hilton and Hyatt are best valued cards. If you know of better cards, please offer it and the reason why.
Anyone can chime in and give me experiences of which hotel treats you very well with the best value. Is it possible to obtain those two in one card?
Also, can I obtain luxury with great value/experiences ? ![]()

There really is no "best" in my opinion. It's what suits you the best. I have all those you mention because I stay at all of the hotels. Which one do you stay at more?

I stayed at Hilton and Marriot. I like those but am willing to change if the benefits can be seen.
What kind of benifts are you looking for?
No idea, perks. free or partial stays. I think the hhonor surpass from Amex and the Hyatt. I should get both. The Hyatt seems overkill with all those free stays. Never been to the Hyatt. But let me hear everyone elses experience with thse Hotels and what they recommend. If MR could be worth more? or another card, please let me know. I checked the conversion rate and 10k MR=15k HHpoints, if anyone can do the math as I am not great at it, please let me know. I checked the room stays and Hilton is very high when it comes to stays. 52k for 219dollars. Hyatt is around 30k but HHonors offers way more points...
My spending patterns per Month are 1300-1500 on dining (Amex-PRG,) 900 on Groceries/ 350 Bills (Amex-EDP,) 3000 Bills (Capital One,) 500 (Nordstrom,) 600 (Macy's (I bought every single color and style of calvin klein boxer/brief microfiber underwear :/ )) 1800 Entertainment/ Misc (FHB). Always PIF before closing and only let FHB report with 20 dollar balance. Less than 1% Utilization. If you can tell me what card to get and what spend to put on it to maximize my rewards. Please let me know. I am already using Skydining and eshopping for Delta miles and obtained 10k miles within 1 in half months, not including my card MR.
P.S. Yes, I am planning for 6 Months to a Year to app but I want the right lineup of cards. Thank you for your consideration and help. I really appreciate it.
Hyatt is great, but beware there are not a lot of them. Marriott has the largest foot print followed by Hilton then SPG, IMO.
Also, I would suggest waiting to app and let your new cards age a long with increasing your score before dipping your toes into a Hotel Card.
I have...
Hyatt
Citi Voyager (Expedia) - love this card, I get 4x points at their site, 2x dinining. Plenty of hotels to choose from and great customer service as a gold member.
Good luck hunting for the card(s).
