Will Discover allow multiple CC's?

Here's the truth...dont waste the HP. Discover DOES NOT allow you to obtain another credit card while possesing it's secured card. I know this to be true because I made that mistake a few months ago. CSR expalined it to me quite clearly.

What does the Discover Secured graduate into is there a specific card it turns into? (It, Journey, etc.)

+1... I've read other reports of this as well.

It seems that if you have a secured Discover you can't get a second card, even if your scores/profile otherwise would support it.

I have no idea if or when this rule no longer applies... common sense would suggest that once the card un-secures you should be fine, but I would still reach out to them before wasting a HP (I also do not know if this restarts the one-year 'clock').

While none of the issuer's CSRs are perfect, Discover's CSRs are generally better than most and can usually be trusted to give good information.
