Will Discover take you back after a settled account?

Has anyone been able to get a Discover card if they have defaulted and then settled with them a couple yrs prior (lets say 3)?

Don't know if this is the same but user: TRC_WA just posted this in a similar thread:

AFAIK they don't recon.  I don't think I've seen a single report of a denial turned into approval via recon.

I was denied in 2013... 4 years after filing BK13.

I was approved in 2014... 5 years after filing BK13.

One $500 CLI to $2k... repeated denials since... citing the BK13.  They were NOT included in the filing... this is my first ever account with them.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info.

I applied and was denied for: "Collection, Charge off, or Judgement status of existing/prior DIscover card account."

I settled with them on a small under 1k credit card.

Would you try calling them and recon? It seems like I will be wasting my time though right?
