Will Penfed use another credit reporting agency?

I want to apply for a Penfed credit card. Penfed pulls from Equifax from what I read. I cannot unfreeze my Equifax CR online and prefer not dealing with Equifax any more. Trans. and Experian were easy peasy to unfreeze as needed.

If I apply for a a CC with EQ froze and TR and EX unfroze, will Penfed pull from TR and EX instead of EQ?

All of a sudden I can now unfreeze my Equifax credit report.

I went ahead and applied and got APPROVED for my highest starting credit line ever!

More than likely not.  Although, if denied due to the status of your EQ reports, you may have to reach out to them to see if that option may be available.
