amex 2 app with the same hp

yes it was declined for the gold card, just 1 hp on ex!!!

any one knows the  amex recon number directly to credit analist?

no number to call  a credit analist?, I did call cs this morning with  no luck, they told me it was declined because too many new inquieres, too many new accounts and derrogatory items ( 1 tax lean from 2007) on my credit report!!!, any sugestions guys?

are you sure about that number?, what about a number to call directly to a credit analist or some else byside costumer service?, the cotumer service I did talk too this morning I think it was in india, I couldnt understand anthing,  by the way amex single hp my experian for both app!!!

Recon with Amex is difficult.  They will be looking for errors on the CR they pulled ie tax lien is now removed.  Most of the time it will be an additional HP to verify the removal or they may accept your faxed copy. 

The best way to overcome the reasons given is to let the inq and new accts age.

if you are still considering recon, the BDN lists their Media number where you can fax your info, don't forget to include your reference number. 

ETA- Sorry, their new accounts number will provide the fax number

I"ll better let it go because I think I got lucky that they approved me for the bce, they may check my applicacion again and denied my bce card on a sencond tought lol!!

Good plan.  You got the revolving card which tends to be more difficult anyways.  Work on getting rid of that tax lien and try again down the road.  If it's an IRS tax lien and you're making payments apply for a withdrawal and get it removed.

its a state tax lien,  its over 7 years old, it will stay on my credit for 10 years, if i pay for  and they update any info on it, it will stay on my credit for 7 more years from the date of th last update, I will  pay for it but I better  dont tray to update any info st the credit b.
