amex cli what happens if requested again?

So as soon as I got my everyday card couple days ago, I asked for 3x cli from 1k-3k. I got countered for 2k, which is still neat. My curiosity is..what happens if you ask for CLI again ? does it HP ? or sp ? or just instant denial ?

If you accepted the 2K, then every CLI request will be denied for next 180 days. If you did not accept it, you can try again at will. As soon as CLI is accepted, next request is considered after 180 days.

I don't know if you can call and ask for HP manual review. Maybe someone else can share insight on this.

You're correct but no you can't request another CLI even with an HP. It's possible though that you could receive an auto CLI that isn't affected by any time limitations.
