Lurker here for months...great info... Tried out Citibank prequalify.. placed me into smplicity application... question how good are chances to get approved ...with 628 EXP, 622 TU, ...credit utilize 52 % ..aim is to get a low interest citibank transfer , to pay off creditone,merrick cards

Honestly pretty slim.. If approved it would be for a lower CL that you would desire IMO and not enough of a limit I speculate to BT that 52% utilization to another card.. Not really saying how much that 52% equates to, but if anything over 5-7k i would do a hard pass on it as you won't get a big enough limit. I would look for a low APR personal loan if trying to get debt under control, but that is a double edge sword as your scores are fairly low partially due to utilization it will be hard to get approved for one of those as well at a rate that beats most likely your current credit card rate.. Although you can certainly check many sites that do Soft Pulls for such a thing and give rates by sp's.
had 780s TU in 2008 ....now utilization 52 % of $11,000..my Amex chargeoff falls off cr in 5 months....thanks... won't risk a HP for now
