After seeing my moms credit report and seeing thatall of her collections are gone. and her score going up to the mid 700's i went and applied for her for capital one venture (pre approved)... the app was denied. so i went to credit one and she got approved for the visa.
but after reading about the card and the montlly fee i dont like the fees and what not.
my question is . when she gets the credit one visa card (if she does not activate it wil she be charged the monthly fee and what not ?)
Update:
Just called and canceled my mom's application. I asked about three times to make sure there wont be any charges. The rep. confirmed there would not be any charges and gave me a confirmation number. she spoke very good English! anyways my mom was approved for a lousy $400.
.. now i can proudly say that i have dealt with creditone.
as i mentioned before im waiting for my mom's last collection to drop next month and go with capital one.

update on original post.
ugh, Why would you ever apply for Credit One with those scores? I'd try the other Capital One cards QS or QS1.
