discover cli on brand new account

guys i just activated my discover card yesterday so its a new account. online im seeing the option for a cli under account>credit options>credit line increase. im wondering exactly how this works. do some people not see the credit line increase link under accounts if there not eligible? because im able to see this link does that mean i should try to get a soft pull increase? im not sure how this all works and id love to have a higher limit because they only started me out with $7500. for my credit score i wanted to start with a 10k limit minimum. i know my account is new but what do you guys think?

has anyone ever received a cli from the site on new accounts? fyi i got accepted with a 801 eq score with no baddies

It's under there now for everyone I think. With discover they won't increase at least by soft pull unless your account is at least 3 mos old.

thanks for the info. thats good to know that its there for everyone. if it wasnt i think that would be a good sign to try it. i wouldnt try a hard pull increase right now anyway so
