I just applied online for the discover it nhl card. I received a message that I'm almost there,please call a 800 number to verify info. it was the new accounts dept. I called and verified info and he said the application was still being reviewed. Could take a little while longer. Anyone else run into this? What do you think my chances are?
Yes this has happened to me but the only thing was after i was told to call in and i answered a few questions they approved it...so maybe there just going over it a little more but its usually a good sign when you have to call in and verify thats my thought.

Just called back and they the application was still processing. Call back in 24-48 hours. Hmmmm. Getting nervous!

Just let things run their course as some apps take a bit longer for verification/processing. You'll know soon enough
Sounds like they need to verify more info. Or sadly their system did not approve you.

Well here is a little update...iI called late last night was told it was still processing call back in 24 hrs. So I called this evening and was told the couldn't access my Equifax report because it was frozen. My reports are not frozen! So I had to call equifax, was on with the 20 minutes with the security dept. He assured me my report was not frozen,ffraud alert, ect. he said discover never made an attempt to access my report. So I just called discover back and a guy said I was misinformed about the report freeze and my application was still processing! !??? What is wrong with them? I'm not so sure I even want the card if this is how they operate!
