She should go ahead and apply but keep in mind that she won't get consideration for having a FICO 8 score in the 750s as she has no financial obligations tied to the entries of her reports. Best place for her to start is probably checking for prequals on Discover and Capital One and then applying for a Discover card.
She just has a thin profile so should stay away from fee harvester cards.

I feel like this is good advice for everyone. Even people with bad credit have secured options (Discover secured, Capital One, many credit unions) that should be explored before those cards.

she was approved for the apple card with a $1000 limit
and a capital one platium with a $3000 limit
