Re: lowes cli? denied. any suggestions
Wait 2 more months, then chat and ask for $20K
CreditFlunky is right. Call backdoor number if you get another denial or a low cli & ask for what you want/need. ![]()
Synchrony synergism ! If you have any other store cards from them, try getting CLI with them as well. I have the same income as last year, nothing is new other than
EXTRA inquiries, and after getting one CLI on my walmart, I tried my JCP and chevron. All were increased. I havent tried my lowes, my SL and current limit is $700, which is what? 1/3 of a kitchen and adjacent family room floor? LOL By the time you knock your balance down that tile is discontinued!
EDIT: I have had my lowes card the least out of my store cards except for the month of May, where I did a spree. My Lowes I opened right before xmas, so our accounts are about the same age. I PIF in March from a $350 tools purchase, haven't used since. From your post you have used yours quite a bit more than mine. I'm with above member, state your case, tell them you wanna take advantage of some of the financing options like home depot (~$1000--12 months ) that just simply do not light up with a limit that low.

So I opened my lowes card in Jan with 300 limit. Have used it each month for 4 months and pif. Used luv button and asked for cli. Get response of cannot process cli at this time. Any suggestions. Something I can do. I've already tried online chat. Not any help for me. Thanks in advance.
Before we advice you to call and ask for a huge increase, what does your credit profile look like? What are your scores and did you try to get it increased when you were initially approved?
My profile is a crap shoot. I have scores about 640 across all three bureaus. I do have several baddies from over 4 years ago, but perfect payment history since. I did open several new accounts in the last year after riding the bench for a couple years My utilization looks high on a credit pull because 3 of the baddies are reporting as co's but still list balance as past due every month. I'm sure that's making it look like I'm paying late as well. And in a way I guess that makes sense because they are delinquent. I actually have thought about paying them ( 2 chase cards and an american express). total of about 5500 altogether. They are actually outside of the sol since I live in North Carolina but its still 3 years till they fall off. So Idk. Guess I should call about a settlement, or maybe the optima oasis program with american express.
