pulled the trigger to early. penfed. help.

i was so anxious and impatient to finally get into a credit union i decided to join PENFED.   hoping they would start me off well, i decided to try for a credit card.  big mistake.  forgot they pulled equifax.   4 baddies ( 2 that shouldnt be on there, was never called or sent a letter that they were going to be sent to my report). 2 $130 baddies that could easily be paid off. both medical.   well i was denied for their promise card.   reasons.    accounts on collections and AAOA (9 months)   so now i feel like im stuck with a penfed acount with nothing to show for it.   i read about PLOC and personal loans but i dont know if they would approve me for those if i cant even get approved for a CC.  i do want to take advatage of the HP that was already pulled.   and taking out a personal loan , or any loan to pay and have some baddies deleted would be great.    would love opinions on what i should do.  of course im going to garden, but i want to take advatnage of the HP thats already there..  thanks in advance

No one wants a wasted HP.. I get that.. but taking out loans or any other financial instrument just so you don't "waste" an hp sounds ridiculous. It's not that bad. HP doesn't count after 1 year and it completely drops off in 2.
