Last night I apped for the Marathon Visa through the Comenity website. This morning I had an alert from expertise that Alliance Data verified my identity through them. I see no hard pulls, just that identity alert. Is this normal?
Yes this is normal. As when they want to verify your identity they will ask 3 or 4 questions based on your credit file. Usually with experian. like which address are you associated with and so on. Its not a Hardpull. just the id check.I see your real Hp was done on Eq.
Yes. Hard pull on equifax. I guess it's just the first time I cold apped with Comenity and my only other cards are Cap 1 or were pre approved offers. So I had never seen an identity check alert before. Yep. I feel really stupid right about now.
