[update] blispay backlogged???

Maybe more inquires are better from the Blispay POV. 

I had either 0 or 1 inquiry on EX (not sure if they or Amex pulled first as I submitted the applications 2 seconds apart) so one of them saw 0 inquiries and one of them saw 1.

Possibly.. not sure about that.

It goes to show that the conventional way of thinking inqs are a bad thing..may not be the case with certain creditors.

All of my inqs are from major banks and CU's besides my app for Google Fi phone service. At the same time they can see I have or had accounts with nearly all of them on my reports.

Blispay SP'd me twice and HP'd me once.

I still believe you'll end up being approved for this card.

Two SPs in addition to the HP when you applied?  When where the SPs in relation to the application HP?

I wonder if that's one of the things they do with limbo applications... wait a few weeks and SP the applicant to see what, if anything, has changed?  Interesting data here.

One SP was done the same day of the HP. The other SP was a day or two later if I'm not mistaken. I'll have to find the report.

today makes 18 days since my app.   ive called 3 times, my last being on the 6th when i got a "call us" letter.   i was led to believe that my app "might" get a decision that day but nothing ever happened.  at this point i dont know what is going on or what they are doing, not sure blispay even knows what they are doing.    i keep checking my reports, i dont have any SP from them only 1 HP on the app date.   ive never experienced anything like this, its crazy.   its just a [&*$#%bleep] credit card,  its not like its a matter of national security clearance.  just wish id never app'd for it.  i got a bad feeling about this company.

I feel your pain buddy, we are in the same exact boat I think I just applied 1 day earlier than you did.  All I've seen thus far is the one HP, nothing else.  I was also led to believe last Tuesday that I'd have an application answer (she suggested checking for my "approval" via email) within 24 hours.  I'll call again tomorrow to follow up.  The state of limbo is quite annoying.  No one likes when their hands are tied.

I had inquiries in the high 30s and was approved, so don't count yourself out!

**************LIMBO UPDATE******************

I was denied finally on July 6. I apped on June 15th. I logged in and got the denial message. They said they would send a letter explaining denial etc etc....

I did not call in and recon or anything because at that point I was just glad the limbo was over...

LOW AND BEHOLD....Im at work yesterday and I get an APPROVAL email....3 days after the denial message...with no recon.

Im confused...but I'll take it.....$5k Starting Line

Wait, I'm confused here.  You said you "logged in" and got a denial message.  Logged in to what?  If you weren't approved yet, how do you have login credentials?  I don't follow you here.

Congrats on the approval email though... that is good news after nearly a month of limbo!
