In my May 2021 billing statement, my Discover CL went from $19K to $17.2K. In the June 2022 statement, it went up to $19.2K. Having forgotten when the CLI happened, I noticed a CLI button on the Discover App and pushed it thinking nothing would happen. But instead, Discover approved a $1.5K increase so now my CL is $20.7K!
When that happened, I said what the heck and tried for a Lowe's CLI. I requested a $3K increase and they approved it! Now my Lowe's CL is $33K!
Funny thing is I don't plan on using any of it.... Both credit lines have the highest balances...... I cut up my Discover card and won't replace it until it's paid off. And Lowe's will be used sparingly.... I do enjoy having lowered my overall Util without doing a thing!
