I wanted to share some DPs on a Capital One account of my older friend who I've been helping with his credit.
Immediately after bk he was approved for a $2,000 SL. Time passed and they bumped him up to $5,000. Since the $5k bump, he was carrying a high balance for quite awhile... and I do mean awhile. Carried balance was close to the $5k limit, finally got it down to like $1,6XX.
We typically have monthly financial meetings. About 2-3 months ago, I explained to him to get that balance down to stop throwing away money in interest. We'll today that pep talk paid off... $2,500 auto CLI. All CLIs from Capital One have been auto for him.
