Summary - Approved for Costco Visa and Elan Max Cash through Wesbanco. Denied Andrew's FCU due to too many inquiries. All same day, in that order
On Monday Jan 4 I was in Costco just to join. I was persuaded (quite easily) into applying for their Visa. I did the Gold Star membership for an extra 2%. So 5% on their travel portal (won't get used for now), 4% on in-store and auto repairs. The T&C exclude gas, so sad.
But I digressed. They pulled Experian where I have a 746 and 5 inquiries. Instant approval for $7,700 at 15.24%. This is my first card from Citi. There's a $60 gift card SUB as well
I applied for the Max Cash card through Wesbanco bank. I had no prior relationship. They pulled Transunion where I have a 743. Instant approval. $10,000 limit and 17.49% apr. There's a $150 SUB for $500 spend. Easy money.
I will open a savings account so that I can get the cash back instead of a statement credit.
Furniture will max out this quarter, and recreation will max out next quarter.
