With a collection account aging off my Transunion account I got a 30 point increase to a 706 FICO 8. I decided to try for the card I got an invitation from my local bank for. They offered no interest on purchases and balance transfers until March 2023. I didn't realize at the time the bank used Elan Financial to issue their cards. I was approved for $2,000. Not what I was hoping for. But better than a denial. The day after I got an invitation to apply for a Wells Fargo card in the mail. I thought why not. Approved for $5,000 with no interest for 18 months, extended to 21 months if I make all the payments on time. Now, with a lot of new accounts and inquiries, I believe around 7 of each in the last 2 years, it's time to garden and work on raising the credit limits.
