My BCE... starting cl was 2000 ... at 61 days 3x to 6k, today 3x to 18k.

I never have carried a balance. And it had a zero balance when i asked. (total card util is less than 2%)

its my go to 'debit card' replacement. Color me happy! Although I wish it were more, simply so i could finance my entire backyard landscape with them.

@OP- To be specific though, you waited 6 months right? Does the 6th month birthday of the card correspond to the 6th statement generated?

i requested m first cli at 61days... 61 days AFTER activation. Once it was approved, i set a reminder for 6 months from THAT date...so it is more like the 9th statement
