I guess I can share my story, I have currently about 34 inquiries on my EQ and I think 15 on TU, EXP is about 15 too.

However I got approved for Discover $1200, Amex Everyday $2000 (then CLI $4000 after about 50 days), Amex PRG, CLI from BofA for an additional $5000, Chevron/Texco: $800, CLI on Amazon to $3000.

So yeah I would take the INQ's with a grain of salt. But I did get declined for the DCU a while back due to the too many inquiries which is really ironic in this thread right now.

But I guess banks weigh things differently, maybe what banks you have cards with, what your limits are, history. By the way my AAoA is very low barely 2 years and I managed to open about 15 accounts within the last year or so with a lot of them within the last 5 - 6 months.

So all things are possible.

Congrats op. Don't know why every one is so shocked. There are members here with 80 plus Inquiries and still get approved. After a certain point the inquiries does not matter any more. What point is that? No one knows.
