Thought I would share. DW has been with Discover since she was in college but her scores took a huge dip from some issues before we met, she had two charge offs and a medical bill that went into collections. Her FICO 8 from TU (From Discover's reporting) is 660. Once the baddies fall off (and we may try the Goodwill route here soon) I suspect her to easily be in the 700's.
Discover started her with $500 and she has been there for a very long time, she used the cards she is AU on most of the time. It has been a long while since she tried a CLI so being SP we gave it a shot. The doubled it and gave her $1000. Not a ton of room to work with if she does charge stuff on the card but nice for her to finally break that $500 and hoping once things are cleaned further we'll see improvement.
Part of me just wants her scores to me higher so she can apply for cards I want and add me as an AU and I can stay in the garden (haha!)
