LMAO! 😂😆😂 Sorry 'bout that as I enjoy both writing and sharing tips that I've learned along the way, so, well, sometimes I go a little 'overboard.'  Yeah, "overboard" works! I realized this post was going to get a bit on the long-side, but there were many teachable moments that I was able to pepper in. It also keeps things interesting (provided that you do not have ADD/ADHD like myself as I could either sit and read an entire novel in a single sitting or throw the novel after about ten minutes if it's not captivating enough for my particular tastes). 😆

Anywho, a great many thanks for the congrats! I was very pleased it all worked out this well! ✊

Take care! ✌️

No worries, it was all in good fun. Thanks again. I think everyone appreciates the time spent to add relevant details and sum it all up into useful data points. 👍

Re: A most eventful time: Approved for a signature loan, second Discover Card, and three CLIs!

@Stealth-1 Most definitely! Fun is an essential nutrient as far as I'm concerned! 👍

On a side note, I guess not only knowing how to get such a train of approvals, but understanding the nuances concerning my existing DPs shows how much exactly I've learned! Most of it on here, BTW! It feels good being able to apply that knowledge when a couple of oddball problems transpire back-to-back and I could quickly and easily figure out a solution to get the cash without taking my utilization into the danger zone, consolidate all the revolvers (bringing down my overall monthly payment and average APR!), AND picking up a handful of SP CLIs along the way!

I think the best way to describe it would be a sense of accomplishment!

It's a good GREAT feeling being able to use credit to fix what would have been an even bigger mess triggered by the borrowing if done anytime in my life up until maybe a year ago!

@SuperFlyEDSguy - Agreed, well stated. You have a nice lineup of cards with a lot of potential...especially the NFCU cards. Treat them right and those cards will grow quickly into beastly limits. That way you can still utilize credit when needed (life happens) yet still have nice overall utilization to maintain high FICO scores. And you aren't anywhere near NFCU's $80K credit card aggregate limit. So the best is still yet to come! Keep up the great work. Cheers, 🥂

You didn't get auto CLI on Tomo? I've charged peanuts like twice and they gave me 1k lol.

Congrats! Disco Miles is my target card too

Update: I was on Tomo over the weekend and saw something interesting when randomly going over my settings. Now, I did have to expand "Spending Power" as it wasn't immediately visible, but once expanded, I saw the following...

"Congratulations! You have met the requirements to submit a spending power increase request. Please fill out the form so that we can determine your eligibility for an increase."

I attempted to submit the form, however there's a very old BOA account that's been closed for at least a couple of years that I could not manually disconnect. This account showing "Relink Required" prevented me from being able to submit the form! 😡

It's commonly known that Tomo uses Plaid to manage their consumer financial data, so I logged into the Plaid Portal and saw that Tomo was present along with a handful of other apps. I verified that BOA was not linked to the Tomo app, which means that it's an issue on Tomo's end as they never updated the BOA connection when removed from Plaid! I see that NFCU is successfully connected, as it should be; but there is nothing BOA-related in sight!

My plan is to call Tomo and have them manually remove the long-closed BOA account. Once that's done, I should be able to complete my request and see if they shower me with some happiness! 😂 I'll hopefully call them today and will try to let you know what happens. I really would like my Tomo credit limit lifted as it's been $1,000 for ages now! One of the reasons to select for the increase is "History of on-time payments," which is an understatement with literally one baddie in seven years!

Wish me luck! 🤞
