Thanks everyone!!! I will definitely call and ask for more once I get the card.
For the amazon store card, you don't need to wait, with your score, depending on your utilization, you can easily get $6K+ My TU score is 667, just 3 points short of being Good, and i am at $6K Wth synchrony, aim high, ask for $10K and they will counter you with the highest credit line available to you at the moment if not give the whole amount. Even if you dont use it as much, that will definitely help you with your utilization. Also, the amazon card you will get is just a paper card. nothing fancy.at least hey could come up with something a little better.
Congrats!

I asked for 10k and they countered at 4k which was a huge bump form the SL. And when it first reported which Synch is really quick to do it reported with the incresed CL. Call them up and they will verify everything without the card in hand and you'll probably be surprised at what they bump it up to. I wouldn't at all be surprised if you couldn't get the Amazon card bumped to 6 or 8k.
How much did you ask for?

I asked for $10K on both cards and they countered with $5k. Right now my utilization is a little high this month at 23% so I'm definitely happy with what I got.

Ok that's awesome, at least you did not leave any money on the table. And you have $10K revolving to be reported to your credit reports, so that will help you a lot with your overall uti. ![]()

Yep took TA8088's advice and went for the stars! LOL I heard Synch reports fast so yes this 10k is definitely going to help my utilization!!
One thing you want to be careful with synchrony (which i hate) is that they will also report mid-cycle. So if you spend $500 on your amazon card, planning to pay it off before the end of the statement, and let the balance sit in your account for a week, you may just see it being reported to the credit bureaus. They do randon mid-cycle reporting. So everytime i use any of my synchrony bank cards, i pay it off as soon as it posts to my account. Just something to keep in mind.
