I waited until about my 80th day from account creation because I was able to get a tax lien deleted from EX which took my score from 704 upon initial application to 788 and I wanted them to SP me again before asking. I checked EX this morning and they had SP'ed me 5/28 which was 6 days after the tax lien was deleted so I was finally able to pull the trigger.
Instant approval/Congrats screen
EX score: 788
2K to 6K
Amex was one of three cards in my mid March app spree
Util 1%
Usage since opening: 5K+ with many, many payments made to keep balance down
Very excited and looking forward to 12/1/2014 so I can ask for 4K more to make it an even 10K.

Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Congrats!

Congratulations on both the increase and on having the lien removed. Just how did you have it removed? I have one that was paid in 2011, which is scheduled to stay there until 2016
