Hey guys! Long time lurker here so this is my first post. I have been committed to rebuilding my credit over the last 5 months and have had some great successes thanks to all the information provided from you all.
I started out in the low 500s (due to some old COs and 30/60/90 day late payments) and app’d for the cap 1 plat and a citi secured. I’ve since opened a Cap 1 QS1 and upgraded the platinum to a QS, which just received a 500 cli for the credit steps program. I also SCT’d a few comenity cards which was also a nice credit boost with responsible use. That being said, I checked the AMEX prequal and finally had offers for the PRG and Green card. I went for the PRG and was approved! I did more research on here regarding applying for a second card and was also approved for the Delta Gold with $1000 cl. I’m not bummed about the cl because that is what I was expecting and know I can grow it. I’m just so glad to have had success with my application process because of all of the research that I was able to do on here, so thank you all! I will head to the garden now and hopefully watch my cl and scores grow.
