I applied for two cards recently after seeing I was pre-approved and was accepted for both of them: Amex Platinum with a POT limit of $15k & Amex Hilton Aspire with a SL of $6400! Funnily enough, I was denied for the Hilton Aspire 2 weeks before I applied for the Platinum.
