Why doesn't anyone apply for the BCP?!
Trying to avoid annual fees at the moment. I might aim for one after sitting in the garden for a year and waiting for all of my HP's to fall off.
The $250 sign up bonus outweights the annual fee though! Heck you even get the 6/3/3% for a year anyways and after that just downgrade. Basically becomes a $175 sign up bonus after the annual fee kicks in.
Yeah yeah. I wasn't sure I'd get approved for an AMEX with all of the HP's hitting my profile over the past week from auto loans quotes, PC's, and CLI's. I was surprised I got approved. I've wanted one of these for a while as my every day card. I'm happy as is.

Right now I have the following...
Capital One Platinum(non-rewards) - 2k Limit (need to confirm if annual fee) 15.8% APR
Barclay Card (non-rewards) - 2k Limit (need to confirm annual fee) - 22.9% APR
Bank Of America 3-2-1 Rewards Card - 10k Limit ($59 Annual fee) - 7.24% APR (edit: just got CLI for 10k total)
Credit Union Rewards Card - 10k Limit - 9.25% APR
AMEX BCE - Have not received card/limit
I also have a Macy's card with a $500 limit and a Best Buy card with a 2k limit, and a Blue Nile card with a 2k limit.
In addition to the above, I've been approved for, and being sent...
Chase Freedom Card - $2500 CL
Discover IT - No idea on CL.
I'm inclined to get rid of the Cap One card and possibly the Barclays. I've had the Cap One card for 7 years, the Barclays for 3-4 years.
What's the logic behind dropping older cards? They both have fairly garbage APR%'s. Any reason to not get them canceled, short of lowering util%?
AAoA and if it doesn't have an annual fee, it isn't doing anything else besides helping you unless you have too many and want to pursue higher limits in the near future.
I see.
I just spoke with Capital One about switching to Quicksilver and they've confirmed I can apply and I'd get it. He sent me to the link to apply.
....and I just got denied.
And now I'm getting jerked around by rep after rep. Canceling Cap One tonight when I get home.
I know EO stand for exective office, but I've never had to call. Is that the credit analyst number listed in the stickies above?
