Re: AMEX Blue Sky Approval!

That 30,000 bonus points is such a juicy bonus!!!!

AMEX only spams me with the typical 7,500 bonus after 1,000 spent in 3 months. I think I'll pass until I get one of those offers you got Smiley Happy

I too am looking heavily at this card. if you get the info could you post which CBA was pulled on you ?

alot of my info is very similar to what you said ... cept EX and TU are my best by far,  if its predominatly EX i will have the greatest chance at sucess so am looking to see by far who was pulled on EX , have heard many times over that EX is who they use the most

Ex 750 10/22/2013 Eq 651 11/09/2013 TU 721 12/9/2013

Re: follow ups

Spydergto, it's an older thread you're replying to, so usually it's better for you to just start a new thread with your questions/comments, as some may not be around to reply any longer (from the original conversation).

FYI, Amex is 99% partial to Experian, and pulls others on top, if borderline.

Sky is a good card to have, and the online pic doesn't to it justice. It's really a clear card, with the blue dot/reflector. Just don't make the mistake I did, and sign the back of the card with a sharpie...lol. Goofed up the front appearance.

follow up

I have two or three threads already and never got a response , i even replyed on the offical amex 3x cli inquiring to info , i have only had 2 responses so far to any posts one of those being yours. i am curious to know what the "boardline" is on this card,  i have been watching my credit heavily , and working non stop gardening. Im trying to figure out what the best course of action for my current situation would be to get a sky miles earning card large enough that i can pump all my bills through it and PIF every month and keep my bills at 10% of card.  my credit is decent , except my Equifax. i have looked at it and keep trying to get it fixed but i have 6 accounts not listed on my EQ that are old, these are however listed on ex and tu , these 6 accounts are 12 years old. this has caused my AAOA on EQ to be alot less than on ex and tu. also i have a secured CC that doesnt report to eq which frustrates the hell outta me . im sure if these two items were ever to resolve my average score of the three would be above 720 ...

but , what is the boardline on this card ? the more info i can aquire while waiting and continung to do the extra leg work will help ...

im a member of alot of forums , people pop in every now and then all it takes is that random email or spam box check hehehe

Re: follow up

From what I've read, a minimum of 650 is preached by one of the older mods, a few other active cards in your wallet with "beyond starter" limits, an AAOA close to the 2 year mark, a low number of inquiries on your CRs, and a decent income/investment portfolio (that can be proven, just in case they ask). These are guestimates. YMMV.
