I did the same move a few mo. Ago ...can someone please, chime in who went from 2k to 6k,to18k!!!

Amex is awesome. I went from 5k>15k>21k I was afraid to ask for the full 3x at 15k which would've been 45k. Instead I asked for 23k to avoid income verification and they countered at 21k which is still good for me.

PenFed Plat Rewards $15k | PenFed Amex $5k | PenFed LOC $500 | CapOne Venture $17k | CapOne VentureOne $6.2k| CapOne QS $4.5k | Affinity 6k | Affinity LOC 7.5k | Banana Rep SC $10k | Best Buy SC $4.3k | Chase SP 21.5k | Chase Marriott 1.5k | Amex BCP 21k | Amex ED 1.5k | Amex Business BCP $12.8K| Amazon SC $10k | Paypal $5.5k. AU Accts: Amex Blue Cash $35k | AAoA 4.3yrs| Util 24%

@Anonymous Amex usually doesn't require income verification or manual review for for credit lines $25k and under. Absolutely not telling you to overstate your income, but make sure you include all income sources and update your profile online to match.. Additionally, they're scoring and risk assesment for CLI's seem to rely alot on usage (lots of swipes) spend patterns and at their core, they still like customers who PIF every month. They like making their $$$ on merchants and the higher transaction fee the usually comes with accepting Amex cards. There's a link below to a pretty good thread on Amex and income verification below.  If you share a little more about your profile like AAoA, Fico 08 Scores, Inq's etc that's always helpful too. Last, once you get to that 181 days, remember to backdoor into your EX report and look for the most recent "American Express 2" soft pulls, that will usually be the snapshot and score used to approve/decline your request, I waited a bit longer than the 61 days for my first 3x CLI because I wanted them to use a more recent soft pull.
