Super congrats!  That is a great strategy!  I'm currently at 6 and was going to ask for the whole 25 but maybe I should wait it out and get the 18?  Great to know and thanks for the info!

Amex is know to give 3X CLIs and not give more than that. I read only 1 post from someone that got more than 3X, but the card was old and didn't ask for CLI in many years.

You are free to try and ask more than 3X your current limit if you wish.
