AMEX CLI with a BK showing

Dw just got a CLI with a BK showing.          From $4000 to $7000. 

   We try at the 61 day mark [as everybody said to try] and was declined because of the BK showing on credit report.  I even called CS  and was told that was the policy, as long as the BK was showing NO CLI

Well the BK is still there ,want come off till next year[dec 2018]    Guess AMEX has changed policy about no CLI with a BK showing.

     Hope for some luv Too,   I am stuck a 2k.

I had the same experience, they denied my cli increase because of he bk on my record.  I stopped using the card for about eight months and I used it to charge a small amount, they gave me a credit limit increase.  I recently requested another cli (sept. 2017), I was declined for the second time because of the bk.  It appears to me that their system will do an increase every once in a while automatically.  I will not use the card for six+ months and then see if this nets me a cli.
