AMEX CLI

I have been asking AMEX for a CLI for years and I always got the 7-10 day notice. But TODAY just for giggles I requested a CLI on my $5,500 Marriott card - I asked for $10,000 and approved !. I wonder if I left money on the table ? 
will find out in 6 months !

I got an increase in July and was thinking the same thing.  I went from 15k to 30k without them batting an eye, I guess I should've asked for more too.  But, congrats on the increase.
