Applied back on 01/21. Got to end of app and sent a code to my phone then got an app cancellation message. Never got an email saying the recieved my application. Call backdoor gentlemen said they sent me a letter. As of today I never recieved letter. Called today and got a woman who said they needed a 4506-T from me and I said you just got that from me back in Sept. NOTHING has changed beside my credit score has increased and I have closed some cards. She said ok and put me on hold told me she spoke with the back end team and they could use the one that they already had on file from my BCE nightmare from last year. Rep stated I would get notified in 48-72 hours. Well while I was out a my local Kroger shopping for stuff to make some homemade turkey burgers. I got a ding on my apple watch from gmail with an email from American Express saying "Congratulations Your Approved." Super stoked got home and registered and to my suprise I was approved for 10K @ 15.99%. My BCE was 2K @ 23.99% Closed that account. I will say that since Sept my EX score went from 752 to 771 and I did close a little over 40K in open credit so maybe that scared them the last time. Hopeful that this account will grow to 30K @ 91 day mark. If so then I will politely close my quicksliver which is 30K @ 19.99.
