Hello everyone! This is my first post on myFICO Forums! I am so excited to share that yesterday I was instantly approved for an American Express Everyday Credit Card! I'm only 19 years old and a college student, so I do have very recent student loan debt. My credit history is short, just a little over a year. My income certainly isn't much but I believe I've managed my credit pretty well despite that. As of Wednesday, September 9th, my credit scores were... Experian: 700 - Transunion: 686 - Equifax: 704
Credit Karma said my approval odds for this card were good. After doing a lot of research on here and reading a lot of reviews elsewhere, I decided to go for it. I was approved instantly (about a minute) for a $2000 CL. I was really shocked that I was approved instantly AND approved for this much right off the bat. All my other higher CLs were increased only after having the card for a significant amount of time. I am very happy to be apart of the AMEX family.
