For the 3rd time since September of this year I went ahead and applied for an AMEX and finally got approved. For a total of... $500. Scratching my head a bit, but I'm in. The amount of time I spent cleaning up my reports and getting my Utilization to 1% was worth it.
Congratulations!
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!
If this was a different lender $500 might not be so exciting but since you can potentially get to $1500 in 61 days and $4500 180 days after that its not so bad
Maybe they are being cautious with you for some reason? Still big congrats on getting an approval! ![]()
Congrats!
Congratulations! I want this card next year
Congrats!

That's why I'm not sweating it at all. We'll see in Feb if I get the 3x increase.
You should try apping for the BCE. I applied for the ED and was approved for $500. Not being satisfied, I also appd for the BCE, and was approved for $1000. Plus, I can use the BCE more effectively than the ED since it would be hard to make the minimal transaction limit to get the bonus points.
Anyway, just my experience.
Congrats!
Congratulations!!
You are in with AMEX now.. Everything you apply for will be a SP, unless approved and then it will become a HP.. Nice thing about amex if you want to try for the BCE or ED card or whatever.. Just wait until the new year before applying so you get the artifical year by using the MSD date.
