Well, after seeing all the AMEX Delta Blue posts, curiosity got the better of me and I logged into my AMEX account. It showed that I was pre-approved for this card. Since I was supposed to be gardening, I logged out right away. Well, curiosity lured me back in and I soon I was checking to see if I was pre-approved for other cards as well. Finally decided on the Hilton Honors since hubby and I were just added to a Friends & Family account, I thought this would be a nice card to have and earn points. Opted for the no AF version and the current offer is 50,000 points after $1,000 spend in 3 months and an additional 25,000 points after another $1,000 spend in 3 more months. Was approved for $1,000. The limit is low, but exactly what I got when I apped BCE in Feb. this year. That card is now $3,000 so I know this will grow also.
Since I was out of the garden anyway, I apped for the PayPal 2% MC. Approved for $2,000! I've never had a Synchrony card but I've read the SL grows nicely. A nice bonus is that I now have a free Fico8 TU score! This card will replace both my Cap1 QS Visa Siggy and QS WEMC for regular spending since 2% cashback > than 1.5% cashback.
My current scores Fico 8 are EQ 686, TU 668, and EX 657.
I lost my little gold spade, but maybe after growing these SL I'll make up for it with increased limits, more available credit, and eventually higher scores...especially after my Ch13 falls off the CR in May 2018! My hope is that when that happens, my scores will increase and lead to CLI!

Well, fell off of the gardening wagon and lost my little gold spade. Last Saturday I apped for the AMEX Hilton Honors club. I was lured into applying after seeing posts on the Delta Blue and discovering that I was pre-approved for several AMEX cards. Apped for the Hilton Honors because hubby and I were recently added to a Friends and Family account and figured it would be good to use and earn some points. Got in with a low $1,000 SL. That's okay. It was a SP and my short experience with AMEX is that it will eventually grow, hopefully when my Ch13 DC falls off next may.
The next day, I figured, I'm out of the garden anyway, let's try for PayPal 2%. Approved for $2,000 SL. I have never had a Synchrony card. I'm going to use this one to replace my 1.5% Cap1 QS and hopefully it will grow quickly. An added bonus is that now I get a free Fico8 TU score!

Congrats on the two approvals. I merged your two posts into this one.

I wondered where that other post went...I even started to think I'd never posted. Thanks for doing that. Should I just delete the extra post?

No, its fine and you actually can't delete a post, only edit it to the point where it's a blank post.
Congrats!

new no Annual-Fee Delta Blue AMEX card, Im good for travel
for the foreseeable future. It just seemed like the best COMBO for me. ![]()
