So this year I really started to dig into my credit and get it fixed. Long story short it led to getting a 1.4% APR on a new car and my first new CC in a couple years.

Some data points...

CapitalOne Quicksilver (oldest tons of baddies from 2017) - 2k CL

Discover IT - 3k CL

Amazon Prime Rewards CC - 2.5k util

10 inquiries (mostly the auto loan and requests from CLI earlier this year and a Citi denial)

I was ready to get a SUB and I hate playing wack a mole with all the different rewards on my Discover IT and Quickliver card. I also wanted a card where I can put all my purchases on to rack up points.

My SL is $1k, which I'm pretty dismayed about, but it's understandable that AMEX wants to be cautious since I have a 120 day late payment in 2017 (but it's also my last ever late payment). I've read it's hard to get out of the 1k ditch, but I'm still going to try and in a few months and request a 3x CLI.

Thank you everyone! I also got approved for an Apple CC this morning after doing a preapproval last night for a 3k SL and 21% APR (last month it was 2.6k @ 24% but I declined). I think I'm pretty satisfied with my lineup right now and I'm off to garden for the next 6 months.
