AMEX Special Offer Approved!!!!

I have ben trying to decide whether it was worth it to app for the BCP when I already had the Sallie Mae MC. I had a hard time justifying the annual fee of $75 but when i checked today for preselected offers, there was an offer sitting there for the Blue Cash preffered card. - $250 reward for spending 1000 in 90 days.

Applied and approved for 12,400. I wonder if I can still do the 3x CLI...

In my excitement I also applied for the Chase slate card so that I could also transfer a balance from my Sallie Mae card so that I can use it again.

Also approved but at a low 2500. I called in for a CLI and discoved that chase hadn't approved me for the 0% balance tranfer promotion.

So i closed the card and transfered the balance to my Freedom card. I still have to wait to November to make it a Visa Signature but the 5500 is much better than the 3000 I had.

All in all, not a bad day.

Congrats on the AMEX approval, All i have gotten in the past is 4 Pre-Selected Offers in the Mail from CapOne for their MC that has the $39 Annual fee and NO rewards lol...
