Reading that headline reminds me how I told my brother I accidentally bought a 1700$ Versace bag over the weekend

That seems fair.

Re: “Accidentally” applied for Best Egg Visa and approved - Now What?

Quick follow up on this approval. I just received another invite in the mail for the "exclusive" Best Egg Visa card. I didn't save what they originally sent me, but as far as I can tell it's exactly the same, just without a lower guaranteed interest rate of about 15 percent if I ever want to carry a balance on it (I think it said between 15 and 25 percent before I shredded it). I have no idea if it was sent accidentally, or if they'd like me to apply for a second Best Egg card.

I've put maybe $30 in spend on the card of my $3,000 SL, all of it reloading my Starbucks card so I can keep the card warm so it doesn't get closed. That means I've lost out on $0.60 worth of cash rewards I could have received using one of my other cards - not a bad trade-off for having more available credit/better credit utilization.

I'm still taking a hard pass on the offer, though.
