Re: Alliant Visa Signature APPROVAL with some Data Points

70k is pre commissions I make Which for me is quite a bit among quite a bit personal assets I simply didn’t really feel like going through that hassle with Alliant and just applied with base with these guys and get more down the road but for now it’s perfectly fine for my needs.

Re: Alliant Visa Signature APPROVAL with some Data Points

My assumption with PenFed (and my first large approval @13.5k at that time with Discover) is around that time I paid large portions of debt I had in a short time frame so maybe they liked it, it used to be two cards as I had the previous Amex but had little use for it before combining them, PenFed has always been interesting for me or the loan officer must have felt generous??

0 INQ last six months and two new accounts last six months as well. Time to chop out a few cards like nasa and Barclays since there’s little use for them.

@Did not think I would be approved as have a few recent accounts and the income 100k you hear about.  Just called in to check the status as the website was super vague but found out got approved for the Alliant Visa Signature 11.74% @ 15k.  I tried going for this last year and was declined and at the time had a 785 score, tried this past Saturday and they came back saying my Fico was at 807, It went into pending status that day and said it would be reviewed shortly (which I assumed no loan officers on that day so waited till Monday), this morning said it was being reviewed then got a application succesfully competed application closed screen but didnt give any other info on the website almost like it dissapeared, called in and the person on the phone gave me the good news, will say total income without commissions is under slightly under 70k but i didnt include any other this in order to make my life easier.  Have had an alliant checking and savings for about 3-4 years and hardly use it except for an occasional bill payment here or there but nothing major.  I did put on there to give me the Maximum possible as far as what I requested my limit to be.  Hope this can be of help to people on the edge of applying as this will now become my general spend card as my DC is used more or less for the balance transfer offers Citi always sends me.

Edit: Also just realized US Bank gave me a $2500 auto increase at a one year mark on my Cash+ card bringing it to 7.5k, generally up

Super Congrats on your Alliant Visa Signature approval and US Bank CLI! Smiley Very Happy

Alliant's VS is the best cash back card I've seen by far.

3% in year 1 and 2.5% every year thereafter. The only

comparable card I've seen is USAA's Limitless card.

I appreciate you taking the time to share. Enjoy your

new Alliant card and US Bank CLI! Smiley Very Happy
