Thanks for the reminder! I've been doing this since the beginning of April. They only check to see if you qualify for 2.5% once every quarter, which means I will have to wait until July 1 to get 2.5%. For now, it's just 1.5% for me. As I'm transitioning Alliant to my main financial account, this doesn't really bother me.
Another downside is a $50 redemption minimum, though.
