Re: Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature

My Chase Amazon Visa started at 4500, No CLI on opening (some folks got more than their initial approval when they recieved their card) and no Auto CLIs until earlly this year (Card is 4+ years old) and now its at 6100 ... What seemed to trigger it at the time was using it hard. Oddly enough i actually predicted the CLI which was unusual at the time. I was doing some heavy shopping on Amazon.... Always annoyed me this card was under 5k.. now id like to see it go up to 8k but dont expect it to.. Might open a third Chase card at some point ... Have a freedom still at its opening 5200 CL....Like to see that at 8k but not gonna take a HP for it.. Rather just get a new card and hopefully are able to move around limits to raise everyone. Or not.

Congrats on the approval however...

Re: Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature

Congrats for your Chase Amazon card!! I was approved by Chase Amazon more than 7.6 years ago for $4,000. After spending >$30k to $35k, they never give me any auto cli. Probably I need to ask CLI directly from them but with my history year by year, I always have 2 or more applications within 24 months so it is not possible to get a CLI. I have another two chase cards 19.6 years and 14.7 years. Both cards stuck at $1000 and $800 with original SL. Ultimate bucket cards. However, like I said the reason why is because I always break the 2/24 rule with Chase so they have no interest in me. Even without breaking the 2/24 rules in the past I didn't have higher income at that time. I am keeping these cards for credit aging. However, with your case I believe your credit will grow as long as you keep within the 2/24 rules and willing to take HP for CLI unless it is an auto CLI.
