I started at a $1,600 SL last April. My first CLI was a 3x CLI to $4,800. The next CLI I misunderstood the question and asked for $5,000. I meant a CLI of $5,000. The question was CL. So I was approved and given my unintended request for a $200 CLI and bumped to a $5,000 CL. LOL I planned to leave it at $5,000 CL after reading stories about the way Synchrony slices and dices credit card limits and/or closures. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I came on here yesterday and read a MyFico forum member's post on a CLI for their Amazon card. That's all the encouragement I needed to waver. So I requested a CLI and was given a $5,000 CLI. I now have a $10,000 CL.
