I've been gardening for 9 months, plan on gardening again till April of 2014, when I'll be app'g for new car lease and 1-2 cc's, one Visa/MC rewards travel card. My fico scores will jump due to the one remaing baddie dropping.

I bit the bullet though...I shop on Amazon all the time, and I liked that there are options for payment. My billmelater account has come in handy in this way.

I was approved for 1900, is that good? What are their credit increases like?

Do they report to all three agencies?

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest you call for a Review/Increase....... I called 30 mins later after my approval and the agent bupmed me up 2k. They use the same credit report on "same day" approvals. I did NOT get pulled again. Did I say HIGHLY suggest already?

Congrats and I agree, try for an increase. Mine grew from $1400 -> $18k.

I found the number...spoke to someone English speaking with assurance it was a soft pull. The first number I called was general, and the gal was hard to understand so ended that call.

I wanted a slight bump, so went from $1900 to $3000. From the sounds of things GE is generous with increases, so I'll let it build up over time.

Thanks for the nudge to call, I wouldn't have done it otherwise!
