I'm sitting there now and every six months when I asked for a CLI they come up with some reason why they can't grant it rather than mentioning it is the max. (Ie too many inquiries when I had 3 or too many credit cards with balances when my utilization was below 1 percent).
They typical did word the denial for above $10,000 with like: 'You have reached the maximum allowable limit for this card' verbiage.
FYI, the Lowes is $35,000.
