Amazon.com store card approved after adverse action denial notice

I've applied for the Amazon.com store card a few times since January. The last time I applied on 3/17/16 I did not receive an instant approval. I called Credit Solutions that night and they told me I was denied because my last application was too recent. I also received the electronic adverse action notice via email stating the same reason.

BUT TODAY I received a letter via snail mail from the Fraud Prevention Department. One quick call and a few easy questions and I was approved for $2,200. Another quick call to Credit Solutions got me bumped to $4,000!

I'm pretty excited to finally have this card because I buy my electronics from Amazon and the financing options are decent enough. I had the Chase Amazon, but I combined it into my Freedom because it didn't offer no interest financing options.

Sync has been pretty nice to me these last couple weeks:

Walmart SC $500-> $5,000

Walmart MC $1,200 -> $6,000

Banana Republic $300 -> $5,000

TJX $300 -> $3,500

Amazon $2,200 -> $4,000

Scores, inquiries in signature. 1 unpaid tax lien, 1 paid judgement on all 3.

I know how you feel. Amazon is my own Go-To for everything electronic, Smartphones, printers etc. just name it.

Almost let mine go last month but with the great way that Synchrony Bank keeps us interested Smiley Wink after they bumped the limit, i know this store card is going to be a mainstay for the foreseeable future.

So happy for you that things got cleared up fine.

Congratulations!

very nice! I dont know what the application window is with them. maybe its 90 days? ive receieved that message from them via email saying too many requests for this card, sincercely the credit manager. i used to be a hater on the amazon store card when i had it circa 2013. then i got the chase amazon visa. then i was enticed by the amazon prime card and i honestly love it lol.
