Re: Amazon prime auto cli

@Creditcollector: that sounds almost too good to be true. Anyway, since already three days have passed since my CLI, do you think I can try that still today or should I wait until the next 3 statements are through? Will it have any negative effect if I ask again and they refuse?  Thanks again!

I would say yes. And no negative effect from what i can see. If they decline anymore increase just wait 3 statements and ask again. Generally speaking if you ask for a certain amount, like you did, and its approved right away, there is a good chance there is still more money on the table. If they would have countered with a lower amount, then you would have known you were at the top of what they would give you.

For example, i recently got my qvc card up to 10,000( the qvc card is banked my synchrony just like amazon store card) Started at 400 in 2016. Asked for my first cli in september of 2017, asked for 5,000 they countered to 3,500. I accepted. No hard pull. I knew that was as high as i could go at that moment since they countered with a lower amount. Waited 3 statements (now at end of december) and then asked for 5,000. Instantly approved. Then asked again a few minutes later for 8,000, instantly approved. Then again asked for 12,000. They countered with 10,000. So in five minutes i asked for three cli back to back and all were approved until i hit my max. No hard pulls. So there is no harm in seeing how high you can go so to speak. I would give it another shot and see what happens, if they say no more just wait the 3 statements.

My scores are around 750 and i know the higher your scores, the higher the limit can go. Good luck and let me know how it goes!Smiley Wink

Thanks. Just gave it another try but it was denied. Seems when they exceeded my last request on Friday by $800 more than I asked for, they gave me everything they are willing to give me at this time. Anyway, still got a nice increase out of this and I will check back in in a couple of months. Thanks again for the great support!

No problem!! All my knowledge i got from this forum, thats how i was able to get my limits to grow on my cards. It's a great feeling! And yes, i think i must have glazed over the part where they gave you an additional 800 than what you requested, my apologies, thus givining you the max for right now. You will receive a letter in the mail from synchrony for the denial reason. If it says " insufficient experience at current limit" thats code for wait 3 months and try again. They basically want to see how you handle the current limit. If it says you were denied because of soemthing in your credit report, score, inquirries etc, you might be at the max until those things change. Still, since its a soft pull it can't hurt to ask every 3 months. Smiley Happy

So my husband got the amazon prime card mid december of 2017. 300 limit. Tried for a increase when he got the card but no dice. Insufficient experience at current limit. Figured we would wait 3 months as i do on most of my sync cards. First statement cut yesterday with an 85 dollar balance(charged about 175 on it in December) Logged in to pay the bill and noticed his limit is now 4800! So it was an auto cli in the first month. I Have not read alot on sync auto cli that much. His score is 710. Very happy with it!

Wow. Just wow.

And congratulations Smiley Happy

Re: Amazon prime auto cli

I didn't know the Synchrony Amazon card had a "Prime" version the way the Chase one does.

When I first saw the thread title, I assumed we were talking the Chase product.

Re: Amazon prime auto cli

Congrats! I finally just got approved for the Amazon card. I’ve been trying the last year and finally got approved for $600.

Hoping after a couple of months I can get it up high like my other SYNC cards 👍
